This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing the full billing cycle, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing exceptional customer service while contributing to a collaborative accounting department.
Responsibilities
- Create, review, and distribute customer invoices accurately and on schedule
- Process and post customer payments, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks
- Monitor accounts receivable balances and aging reports
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and assist with collection efforts
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment issues
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure billing accuracy
- Prepare AR and billing-related reports for management
- Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations
- Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting best practices
- 3 years of Accounts Receivable and/or Billing experience
- Strong knowledge of invoicing, collections, cash applications, and account reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
