Accounting Specialist

Accounting Specialist, Oakland, CAWe're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team and support our daily financial operations. This role centers on maintaining accurate financial records using Deltek software and collaborating closely with the team who will provide hands-on training so you can understand workflow, deadlines and expectations.Key responsibilities:Record and track financial activity with precisionAccounts Payable- invoice processing through check runAccounts Receivable-Post incoming payments and maintain organized cash-receipt recordsPrepare journal entries and assist with month-end tasksReconcile bank statements to ensure accurate account balancesSupport electronic document organization and filingExperience needed:Working knowledge of Deltek or a similar project management accounting softwareFast and accurate data-entry skills for AP & AR transaction processingExperience handling AP, AR, and cash-receipt functionsAbility to complete reconciliations accurately and on schedulePreferredFamiliarity with Deltek VantagePointBackground in digital filing systemsDegree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldBenefits and compensation:Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, flex spending, holiday pay and service recognition bonus.Skills training available via our Aspire Academy toolsThe role is temp to hire with pay $30.00 to $35.00 per hour doe.Apply today at LHH.com for immediate consideration.
