Accounting Clerk
LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Clerk to join the dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on vendor maintenance. This role will start as a fully on-site position and transition to a hybrid model, requiring 3 days on-site per week.
Location: Initially fully on-site, transitioning to a hybrid model with 3 days on-site per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Maintenance: Manage and maintain vendor accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including data entry, reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including filing and documentation.
Communication: Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve any issues related to billing, payments, and account discrepancies.
Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Support: Provide support to the finance team with various accounting tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on vendor maintenance.
Education: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Work Environment:
On-Site: This position will start as fully on-site to ensure a smooth onboarding process and familiarity with the team and company procedures.
Hybrid Model: After the initial period, the role will transition to a hybrid model, requiring 3 days on-site per week and allowing for remote work flexibility.
