- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums to achieve optimal floor care and appearance.
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, furniture, or equipment in accordance with safe lifting practices.
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and other floor care techniques to preserve their appearance and safety standards.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment.
- Uphold strict safety procedures during all custodial activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning practices.
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to chemical handling safety procedures.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools.

- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
