Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate lawn care activities to ensure timely completion of projects with exceptional quality.
- Manage and mentor crew members, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Must be able to operate walker mower.
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and other landscaping tools safely and efficiently.
- Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care; perform pruning as needed.
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions; perform adjustments or repairs to optimize water efficiency.
- Operate company vehicles for transportation to job sites while adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all outdoor work activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture or groundskeeping with a focus on outdoor work environments.
- Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance settings.
- Strong knowledge of plant identification, tree care techniques, hardscape construction, and irrigation management.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, irrigation tools, and hardscape machinery safely.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage crew members effectively while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Experience with hardscaping construction projects including patios, walkways, retaining walls or similar structures.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred.
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; attention to detail in grounds maintenance tasks.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
