LGG Industrial is seeking an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator to perform precision GTAW/TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel components. The ideal candidate has experience with metal fabrication, production welding, blueprint reading, welding symbols, and Welding Procedure Specifications. This position is well suited for a manufacturing welder who takes pride in producing clean, consistent, high-quality welds.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate TIG welding equipment based on job requirements and Welding Procedure Specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications
- TIG weld steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel components
- Inspect completed welds and finished components to ensure quality standards are met
- Set up welding cells for production runs
- Follow and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications
- Measure, identify, and prepare materials for fabrication
- Operate production machinery or assist machine operators as needed
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and an organized work area
- Work closely with team members to improve productivity and efficiency
- Follow all safety procedures and actively contribute to a zero-incident workplace
What We’re Looking For
- At least one year of TIG welding experience
- Experience welding steel, aluminum, or stainless steel
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to identify and accurately measure materials
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, quality work
- Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and measurement conversions
- Ability to work independently and prioritize assignments
- High school diploma, GED, completed craft apprenticeship, or equivalent education and relevant experience
- Ability to pass a TIG welding test within six weeks of employment
- Reliable transportation
- Availability to work overtime, nights, or weekends when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of manufacturing experience
- Previous experience in an industrial or production environment
- Experience working with multiple types of metal
- Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance
- Ability to distinguish between aluminum, steel, stainless steel, copper, and brass
- Strong mechanical or fabrication background
