What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Machine Operator position at LG Staffing Solutions on Demand, Inc.?
2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00pm
Summary of Job Requirements:
- Candidate must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment with machinery. Preferably experienced in the Flexible Packaging Industry.
- Must be able to work with all hand tools and read production orders and converting specifications, make minor mechanical adjustments on the POLYETHYLENE BAG MACHINES such as troubleshooting, adjust weak seals, sticking bags, zipper problems, tension control, punches and quality control adjustments.
- Candidate should be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs. individually.
- Position requires bending, stooping, pulling, reaching overhead, heavy manual work, standing and walking.
- Good writing and reading skills are required, Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not a must.
- MUST know how to use tools
