Summary
As the Director of North American EHS, you will lead and oversee the development, standardization, and execution of comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) strategies across all LGES North America sites. This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while aligning regional operations with global HQ policies. You will drive a high-performance safety culture by strengthening risk management, leading incident prevention and response initiatives, and implementing KPI-driven improvements. In close collaboration with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders, you will support facility expansions and production ramp-ups, ensuring consistent EHS excellence across the region.

• Minimum 15 years of progressive EHS management experience with demonstrated success in developing and executing effective programs and initiatives.Core Competencies
• Deep understanding of federal, state, and local EHS laws and regulations (EPA, RCRA, CWA, SWPPP, SPCC, OSHA etc).• Self-starter, results-oriented, and capable of balancing strategic planning with operational execution in a fast-paced environment.• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.• Strong project leadership with the ability to achieve goals on time and within budget, maintaining attention to detail and documentation accuracy.Preferred
