What are the responsibilities and job description for the Builder- Residential Construction position at LFG Homes?
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations on the job site
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project plans
- Communicate with clients, architects, and engineers to address any issues or concerns
- Prepare and submit progress reports to project stakeholders
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and RFIs
Required Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of construction experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Mastery of the "13 Milestones of Construction".
- Vehicle capable of transporting supplies, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel as needed.
- Proficiency in MS Office and email communication.
- Ability to understand and execute written and oral instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication skills to convey organizational policies to team members.
- General contractors license highly preferred but would be an added benefit that could carry additional comp and equity opportunities.
