We are seeking a reliable and motivated Skilled Laborer / Semi-Skilled Carpenter for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in the San Diego Metropolitan area starting at $26.00/hour. This is a day shift position, Monday–Saturday (30–40 hours/week), requiring at least 3 years of construction or carpentry experience and hands-on skilled labor on active job sites using hand and power tools. The ideal candidate is dependable and experienced in framing, drywall, painting, and general construction tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform framing, drywall, painting, and patching
- Use hand and power tools (drills, sawzall, chop saw, drywall tools)
- Assist with general construction and site tasks
- Support job site preparation and cleanup
- Follow safety procedures on active construction sites
Requirements
- 3 years of construction or carpentry experience
- Must have hand and power tools
- Experience in framing, drywall, painting, and patching
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must pass drug screen and background check
