Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Car Wash Attendant / Service Porter, we are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Car Wash Attendant / Service Porter. This position involves driving customer vehicles through our automatic car wash and thoroughly drying each vehicle before it is returned to the customer.
Responsibilities
- Drive service vehicles through the automatic car wash.
- Thoroughly dry each vehicle after washing to prevent water spots and streaks.
- Maintain a steady pace while processing approximately 60–100 vehicles per day.
- Check each vehicle to ensure it is clean and ready for delivery.
- Handle each guest vehicles with care and respect
- Keep the car wash area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies
- Coordinate with service advisors and porters to keep vehicles moving on time
- Follow all dealership safety procedures and dealership policies, along with all State and Local driving Laws.
Ideal Candidate: Reliable, detail-oriented, able to work at a steady pace, and comfortable driving different types of vehicles throughout the day.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to stand, bend, and work on your feet for a full shift
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in your work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work at a fast pace
- Previous car wash, detailing, or dealership experience is a plus but not required. We’ll train the right person.
Experience
- Prior experience in auto detailing or auto wash facilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
- Comfortable performing physical tasks throughout the shift, including standing for long periods, frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive arm movement while drying vehicles, and walking the parking lot regularly to locate and retrieve service vehicles.
- Basic understanding of vehicle operation including standard passenger cars and manual transmissions is necessary for this position.
