What are the responsibilities and job description for the Football Offensive Coordinator position at Lexington Senior High School?
The High School Offensive Coordinator is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the offensive side of the football program. This position plays a vital role in developing student-athletes both on and off the field by fostering discipline, accountability, leadership and teamwork. The Offensive Coordinator works closely with the Head Coach and coaching staff to build a competitive, well-prepared, and fundamentally sound offense that reflects the values and standards of Lexington Senior High School.
Qualifications
-Previous high school or collegiate football coaching experience (offense preferred)
- Strong Knowledge of offensive schemes, formations and situational football.
- Ability to teach and communicate effectively with student-athletes.
- Demonstrate Leadership skills and ability to build positive relationships.
- Commitment to developing student-athletes academically, athletically and socially.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, administration, parents and community stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
-Prior Offensive Coordinator or Head Coaching Experience
- Experience using film breakdown and scouting software (Hudl)
- Teaching License or eligibilty for employment within the school district.
