The head coach will also overseeing assitant coaches, handle administrative tasks like scheduling, DragonFly and recruiting within the school. The head football coach will ensure academic eligibility and serve as a mentor to build character, self-discipline, and teamwork while being a faculty member.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the high school football program, setting the vision and managing operations.
- Coaching and Instruction: Plan and lead practices, teach fundamentals, develop game strategies/playbooks, and analyze game film to improve performance.
- Player Development: Assess skills, assign positions, provide one on one coaching, and guide student-athletes on health, nutrition, and overall well-being.
- Team Management: Recruit players, handle tryouts, manage rosters, enforce discipline, and foster a positive, inclusive team environment.
