Childcare Provider (Preschool Ages 3–5)
Position Summary
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and faith-filled Childcare Provider to join our Christian early childhood education team. The ideal candidate is passionate about nurturing young children in a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment while supporting their spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
The Childcare Provider will create meaningful learning experiences through play, hands-on activities, Bible-based lessons, and positive interactions that help children grow in their faith and prepare for kindergarten.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and welcoming classroom environment for children ages 3–5.
- Supervise children at all times to ensure their health, safety, and well-being.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
- Incorporate Christian values, Bible stories, prayer, worship, and character development into daily routines.
- Foster children's social, emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and sanitation according to licensing regulations.
- Observe and document children's progress and communicate regularly with parents.
- Use positive guidance and classroom management techniques that promote respect and self-control.
- Assist children with meals, snacks, restroom routines, and other daily care needs.
- Follow all state licensing requirements, health and safety procedures, and center policies.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and staff.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday from 12pm-5:30pm
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; early childhood education coursework or degree preferred.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet all state childcare licensing requirements.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with young children throughout the day.

Work Environment
This position requires active engagement with young children in classrooms, on playgrounds, and during special activities. The Childcare Provider should be able to sit on the floor, bend, kneel, lift children when necessary, and participate in indoor and outdoor play.
