Responsibilities
- Assist experienced skilled trades teams in a fast-paced advanced steel fabrication environment
- Gain exposure to structural and precision steel fabrication processes and shop operations
- Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and in accordance with shop standards
- Learn proper tools, materials, and safety practices
- Support ongoing manufacturing projects
- Attend training sessions focused on fabrication techniques and industry best practices
- Learn proper material handling, finishing, and quality inspection practices
- Document work processes and maintain accurate records as required
- 18 years of age or older
- Commitment to complying with workplace safety and company policies
- Strong willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality — consistent presence is essential to supporting the team and maximizing hands-on learning opportunities
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening prior to start date
- High School Trade preparatory classes or welding experience
- Mathematics and/or Drafting classes
- Good communication and problem-solving skills

- Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds frequently on the job and able to climb more than 300 feet.
- Must be able to pull own weight when climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolding up to 150 feet.
- Excessive amounts of bending, stooping, carrying, pushing, and pulling weights up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations, a loud and dusty work environment, and able to be around high voltage electromagnetic fields. All the physical demands listed are essential functions.
