As a Lewiston Motor Company Sales & Finance Consultant, you are responsible for the sale/lease finance/insurance of new and used vehicles at gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards and expectations set by the dealership.

- Sell and deliver a minimum number of vehicles per month
- Write complete sales orders and process paperwork in accordance with dealership policies.
- Utilize dealership sales controls and follow-up systems.
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of all dealership products and services.
- Maintain prospect development system.
- Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner.
- Protect gross profits by arranging financing so outside sources do not have an impact on selling margins.
- Establish lender relations that tie the customer closer to the dealership.
- Generate additional income through the sales, vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage, and maintenance plans.
- Maintain control of all paperwork until it is ready to be turned into the general office.
- Responsible for all paperwork involved with the sale of the vehicle, including obtaining customer signatures and securing payoff and insurance information.
- Convert cash deals to finance.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources, including the manufacturer.
- Process finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval.
- Process all federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transactions.
- Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect that new and used vehicle and finance departments.
- Complete paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficient manner.
- Check all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc. before forwarding to accounting.
- Provide customers with a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
- Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
- Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
- Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively.

- Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

- Number Facility - The ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly.
- Valid driver’s license
- Dealership Sales Experience Required.
