Bear Creek Elementary School is seeking a primary elementary teacher beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. This position will be in grades K-2 depending on enrollment. Our team is looking for a teammate with strength in collaboration and communication. Candidates must have a solid foundation in literacy and a genuine understanding of the developmental needs of early elementary students. We value educators who work well with colleagues and partner closely with families to support student success. Candidates must have, or be eligible to receive, a current Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsement and meet CDE READ Act requirements. The first day for teachers new to our district is July 31, 2026.
Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 18 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 19, per school board policy. This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of $44,550 - $75,279. The current teacher pay schedule can be found on our website.
