Quick Lane Lube Technician (Entry-Level Automotive Technician)

What You’ll Do:
Perform oil changes and replace oil filters
Check and top off vehicle fluids (brake, coolant, transmission, power steering, washer fluid)
Inspect tires, check air pressure, and perform tire rotations
Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report concerns to service advisors
Replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, bulbs, and perform other light maintenance
Accurately document work performed on repair orders
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Follow all dealership and safety procedures, including proper disposal of materials
Work as part of a team to keep the service department running efficiently
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent
Willingness to learn – training provided
Basic automotive knowledge is helpful but not required
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Preferred (Not Required):
Previous experience as a Lube Technician or automotive service assistant
ASE or other automotive certifications
Work Environment:
Standing, bending, lifting, and working with tools for extended periods
Exposure to shop noise, automotive fluids, and varying temperatures
PPE provided and required

Job Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
On-the-job training provided for motivated candidates
Previous experience as a Lube Technician or automotive maintenance role preferred, but not required
Skills & Abilities
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and routine vehicle maintenance
Ability to perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and other light maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on, and physically demanding environment
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods
Comfortable using automotive tools and equipment such as oil drainers, tire changers, and lifts
Knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures, including proper handling of automotive fluids and hazardous materials
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
ASE or other automotive certifications
Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service environment
