Responsibilities: • Assist in all financial systems-related projects’ technical and functional aspects including analysis of the current business, detection of critical deficiencies, and recommendations of solutions for improvement. Responsible for full end-to-end cycle including requirement gathering, planning, testing, and implementing.• Assist with the overall installation, customization, enhancement, maintenance, and support of the financial systems, primarily Aderant Expert and its peripheral applications (ChromeRiver, BillBlast, iTimekeep, BigHand, etc.)• In-depth understanding of the Expert data structure.• Provide data and reports to Finance and other departments within the firm using various tools such as T-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Aderant Expert, BigHand and Excel. • Supporting Aderant Expert applications (EA Pro, Expert Classic, Expert AP & Billing, BillBlast, Expert Rates, etc.).• Using Aderant Experts Design Studio and End-User painter to customize forms, templates, and design custom inquiries and tiles.• Help maintain user security within Aderant Expert. • Work with Aderant support, opening support tickets and helping to resolve issues. • Backup to month-end time and billing closing of Aderant Expert. • Assist with implementing software application version upgrades.• Support collaboration between Aderant Expert and all third-party applications, such as BigHand, Chrome River, iTimekeep, OCG Live, Bill Blast, Prebill Manager, etc.• Develop, modify, and maintain billing templates using SQL and Docudraft.• Help to maintain data integrity and security.• Help to maintain the overall operation of the firms’ expert financial systems, including the fixed assets, and financial reporting systems.• Customize reports and the user interface in Aderant Expert, including advanced scripting SQL, using the customization tools in Aderant Expert. Qualifications: • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a law firm supporting Business or Financial systems in an Aderant Expert environment.• Extensive experience with; Aderant Expert/Table Structures.• Deep knowledge of and regular use of core Aderant Expert administration tools• Transact-SQL, stored procedures and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)• Experience with Visual Studio desirable• Developing customizations to Aderant Expert forms, inquiries and rules with Expert’s Design Studio.• Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as BigHand, Microsoft Power BI, or Aderant Spotlight.
