About the Opportunity
Codeworks is partnering with our direct client to hire a Quality Assurance Analyst to support multiple, high‑impact IT initiatives in a fast‑moving financial environment. This role is focused on ensuring quality across data integration, reporting systems, and application workflows spanning both homegrown solutions and vendor integrations.
This is a hands‑on QA role ideal for someone who enjoys jumping into existing projects, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams, and helping drive strong testing practices across complex systems.

What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business partners to ensure appropriate testing coverage across initiatives
- Review ongoing work to plan and create effective integration and regression test cases
- Recommend testing strategies and methodologies aligned with project scope and risk
- Identify opportunities for test automation and recommend appropriate tooling
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts
- Execute tests and analyze results to identify defects and root causes
- Document, track, and communicate defects through resolution
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on features, acceptance criteria, and usability
- Identify and escalate quality risks that could impact delivery
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, tools, and automation practices
- Partner with delivery teams and a broader QA group to strengthen test automation capabilities
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or Software Development
- Hands‑on experience with API testing (REST and/or SOAP)
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP)
- Strong understanding of test methodologies and the difference between testing and checking
- Experience automating tests or identifying opportunities for automation
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs
- Proficiency with databases and SQL queries
- Experience testing system integrations and reporting applications, including large data sets
- Experience with automated UI testing; Selenium preferred
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as ThunderClient or SOAPUI
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Experience with Azure DevOps, particularly integrated testing, is a plus
- Experience with Dynamics CRM is a plus
- Ability to adapt testing approach and priorities based on project and business needs
Compensation & Benefits
Codeworks discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $50.00 and $70.00. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable. All full-time Codeworks employees are eligible to enroll in the company’s medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
