What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Receptionist position at Levi & Korsinsky, LLP?
Levi & Korsinsky, LLP is seeking a customer service-oriented receptionist to join our firmwide administrative team. This is a full-time, on-site position in our office located in the Financial District, New York. Our hours are 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday.
Job Duties:
- Answer and reroute high-volume calls in a timely manner
- Manage client-facing email inbox and chat to respond to shareholder inquiries as needed
- Welcome visitors to the office
- Receive and distribute all deliveries and mail
- Facilitate shipping with FedEx, UPS, etc.
- Assist with the maintenance of files for all cases
- Assist paralegals with attorney billing, printing, scanning, and client relations
- Maintain tidiness of offices, conference rooms, storage spaces, and kitchen
- Order office and kitchen supplies to maintain standard inventory
- Assist with other various administrative tasks to support managing partners
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher is preferred
- One year experience as a receptionist at a law office
- Comfortable taking and transferring high-volume calls
- Excellent communication skills, phone courtesy, and customer service abilities
- English fluency is a must, and proficiency in other languages is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Proactive and self-motivating attitude
- Verification of identity, education, and references may be required
