Summary
The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring that financial, administrative, and business management needs are handled with accuracy, efficiency, and discretion. This role blends client service, financial oversight, and operational management to safeguard both personal and professional interests. In addition, the Account Manager leads and develops their client service team by managing workloads, overseeing deliverables, and providing ongoing training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure excellence in client support and departmental operations.

This position is a full-time, overtime exempt position and requires candidates to be onsite at our Nashville office location from the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm CST. This position will be considered for hybrid (WFH) following 90-day period.

Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Business Management
- Lead client communications and deliver timely business/financial updates
- Coordinate with vendors, legal, and service providers to ensure compliance
- Support client projects, reporting, and annual processes (e.g., healthcare enrollment)
- Collaborate with leadership to align client strategies with business objectives
- Manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee tax planning, preparation, and compliance filings
- Provide cash flow projections and strategic financial guidance
- Coordinate audits and special financial projects
- Oversee payments, invoices, and vendor transactions
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and daily bank activity
- Maintain banking records and safeguard against fraud
- Supervise, coach, and develop Assistant and Junior Account Managers, balancing workloads and supporting growth.
- Hold regular team meetings and one-on-ones to align priorities, monitor deliverables, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations to drive professional development.
- Oversee administrative processes, including documentation, systems management, onboarding/offboarding, and compliance.
- Model company values in daily leadership, fostering accountability, trust, and a high-performing team culture.
