Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting specials and recommendations
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring clear communication with kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor throughout the guest experience
- Handle guest inquiries with excellent phone etiquette and provide solutions to ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand, dining area, and service stations
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to foster positive guest experiences
Requirements
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or server in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse guests effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Experience working in food service environments, including restaurant or hotel settings, is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality standards including guest services, serving techniques, and phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a lively environment
