Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Server to join our charming Tea Room team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest service while delivering a memorable dining experience. You’ll help with menu selections, quickly refill beverages and ensure food arrives on time, always delivering warm and friendly interactions.

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Square POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise processing
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, upselling specials and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation, food safety, and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while managing openTable reservations for optimal seating flow
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations through bussing and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
Experience
- Prior restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or upscale tea rooms, is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations is essential
- Knowledge of the food industry, including food preparation, serving techniques, and guest relations
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Previous host/host or serving experience in a nightclub or hospitality setting is advantageous
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and transaction purposes
Pay:
$3-7.25 an hour plus tips
