Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, shocks & struts, brakes, and powertrain components.
- Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards.
- Repair and service diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repair tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Skills
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including electrical systems, powertrain, transmissions, suspension, brakes, and ADAS technology.
- Skilled in automotive diagnostics and schematics interpretation for efficient troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software.
- Knowledge of auto body repair techniques and auto estimating processes is a plus.
- Ability to work on GM vehicles or similar makes with experience in diesel mechanics is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics and auto electrical systems enhances versatility in the role.

This position can be paid hourly or be commission based (applicant‘s preference)
