Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofing and Siding Subcontractor to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing and siding systems on residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace roofing materials using hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment while adhering to project specifications and safety standards.
• Measure and cut siding materials accurately based on blueprints, schematics, or schematics provided by project managers.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure proper installation of roofing and siding systems.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, caulking, or applying weatherproofing materials to ensure durability and longevity of exterior systems.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, stucco components, or masonry units safely and efficiently.
• Utilize fabrication skills for custom trim carpentry or metal stud framing as needed for specific projects.
• Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, masons, plumbers, or welders to coordinate project tasks seamlessly.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite by managing tools, disposing of debris properly, and following safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in restoration or remodeling projects involving exterior finishes like stucco or tile laying when required.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on roofing or siding installation preferred.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus for understanding project scope and material needs.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery is essential.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of various exterior building materials including metal panels, stucco, masonry units, tile, and trim carpentry techniques.
• Previous maintenance person experience or general construction background is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
