We have a position for an experienced embedded software engineer to calibrate and validate genset features.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible to own and maintain the following functions in new programs. This shall include calibration, validation and review for release. This could also include INSITE tool integrator support as needed.
- Datalinks
- Actuators
- Engine Protection functions
- This role would also involve testing on open/closed loop bench, Test cell and remote monitoring of a test cell.
- This role involves cross functional work, so clarity in communication is a necessity.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the following areas:
- Electronics OR controls background
- Embedded C Software development
- Matlab Simulink development and Simulink simulation
- Datalinks
- INSITE, CALTERM, CDM, Data Analysis, CAN tools etc.
- Object-oriented design and real-time embedded software
- Critical thinking
- Good communicator - written and verbal
- Great collaborator

What you'll need to be successful:
- College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines. Mechanical Engineering degree HIGHLY preferred as well as 2 or more years of hands-on experience.
- Fundamental understanding of the internal combustion engines
- Embedded C Software experience is required
- Matlab SIMULINK experience is desired
- Experience in communicating and presenting technical content with external customers preferred.
- PTC Integrity/Windchill RV&S experience is highly desired
