This role supports two primary functions, the Catalyst, Performance and Integration (CPI) team, and the Aftertreatment Integration (ATI) team. Both functions support on and off-highway after-treatment systems for engines ranging in size from 2.8L to 95L.
The Catalyst, Performance and Integration (CPI) team requires support in developing test plans, executing test plans, data analysis, data quality checks, generating technical reports on testing performed to support the following objectives:

What you will be doing:
This role supports two primary functions, the Catalyst, Performance and Integration (CPI) team, and the Aftertreatment Integration (ATI) team. Both functions support on and off-highway after-treatment systems for engines ranging in size from 2.8L to 95L.
The Catalyst, Performance and Integration (CPI) team requires support in developing test plans, executing test plans, data analysis, data quality checks, generating technical reports on testing performed to support the following objectives:
- Catalyst Portfolio Strategy
- Performance boundary mapping
- Base calibration development
- Product & process release for C/P/I
- Calibration Development Support
- Create software feature and diagnostic calibrations for on and off-highway programs following the Corporate calibration process.
- Create supporting documentation for software feature and diagnostic changes
- Perform bench testing on feature and diagnostic calibrations to validate functionality
- Present feature and diagnostic reviews in calibration integration forums and OBD forums
- Investigate software and integration issues observed in the test cell and/or field and address any FIRGs associated with these features and diagnostics.
- Field Performance Analysis Support
- Review field data using FPA console and generate weekly/bi-weekly reports of EAS behavior.
- Early production and production-phase SCR over-temperature diagnostics reviews and dew point feature subject to availability of field test data.
- Early production and production -phase DOC, DPF, SCR over-temperature, PM sensor diagnostic reviews and NOx sensor diagnostic & feature reviews
- Back up relevant information with shared access for stakeholders, CTR's for applicable DVP&R updates, deliverables tracking on Integrity (upload)
- College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines.
- Mechanical Engineering degree HIGHLY preferred
- A mechanical/chemical engineering background with a masters of science or PhD is preferred
- 2 or more years of hands-on experience
- Ability to analyze/interpret large sets of data is required
- MATLAB Plotting and analysis is required.
- MS office suit solid knowledge is required.
- Calibration of engine or aftertreatment features/monitors
- Engine or aftertreatment performance

- Experience working in the automotive/truck industry and knowledge of aftertreatment systems is considered ideal.
