What you will be doing:
We are seeking hands-on Calibration & Testing Engineer to join our engineering team in Texas. The ideal candidate has practical experience in vehicle calibration, testing, and data analysis.
In this role, you will support the vehicle development of drivability and vehicle systems through calibration activities, vehicle testing, and data-driven analysis. You will work closely with software and systems engineers to ensure robust vehicle performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle calibration activities for powertrain, drivability, and vehicle functions.
- Execute vehicle and bench testing according to project requirements.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
- Analyze measurement data and identify calibration opportunities and system issues.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause investigations during testing activities.
- Support software and system validation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international engineering teams to achieve project milestones.
- Report calibration changes, test results, and engineering recommendations.
- Participate in vehicle development and validation programs at proving grounds and extreme environmental trips when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in vehicle calibration and testing.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle data acquisition and analysis.
- Experience using ETAS INCA and/or Raptor for calibration and measurement activities.
- Experience with CANape, Vector tools, diagnostic tools or similar engineering software.
- Experience in analyzing software signal flows and identifying the calibration labels.
- Proficiency in Matlab / Simulink and experience with Model-Based Controls
- Ability to analyze test data and diagnose system-level issues.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally for testing activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with internal combustion engines and hybrid systems.
- Knowledge of or experience with alternative fuel system vehicles would be a big advantage.
- Experience operating vehicles during development and validation testing.
- Truck driving license would be a big advantage.

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
