We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in account management and business development with US automotive OEMs, to support growth in our client's engineering services offerings within this market segment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Business Development in vehicle & powertrain engineering, intelligent mobility, and software development in the automotive market
- Develop and/or strengthen partnerships with local automotive OEMs
- Define and execute sales strategies, based on an understanding of the unique challenges faced by our customers under changing market needs in the automotive industry
- Identify & develop new business opportunities and brand awareness through effective networking, including proactive personal interaction and participation in trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions
- Support engineering team in identification of customer requirements and development of proposals to meet or exceed customer expectations
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- 8 years of experience in business development
- Strong professional network, with connections to US-based automotive manufacturers
- Strong interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
- Self-starter: ability to function in a matrixed, team organization, taking accountability for meeting business objectives with minimal supervision
- 10 years' experience in mobility engineering, with strong focus on engineering services
- Experience in the sale of services related to powertrain testing
- Experience in the sale of services related to intelligent mobility technologies
