LePure Biotech LLC is the U.S. subsidiary of LePure Biotech, a Shanghai-headquartered biotechnology company providing bioprocessing and life science solutions. We are expanding our U.S. commercial footprint and are seeking a Business Development Manager to support growth nationwide.
Role Overview
This is a customer-facing business development role responsible for lead generation, pipeline development, and market expansion across the U.S. The role works closely with U.S. commercial teams and cross-functional partners at China headquarters to translate customer needs into commercial opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and develop new business opportunities across U.S. biopharma, biotech, CDMOs, CROs, research institutes, and bioprocessing customers
· Generate and qualify leads through outreach, customer visits, industry events, and trade shows
· Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools; support forecasting and reporting
· Execute U.S. market development initiatives aligned with global strategy
· Support pricing discussions, opportunity evaluations, and business case development
· Collaborate with marketing on trade shows, webinars, product launches, and sales materials
· Serve as a key liaison between U.S. customers and China-based technical and operations teams
· Support new product and service launches in the U.S. market
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field
· 5 years of sales or business development experience in biopharma, biotech, life sciences, or bioprocessing
· Proven success in developing and closing new business in the U.S.
· Experience with bioprocessing products (e.g., single-use systems, filtration, fluid management, chromatography, bioreactors) preferred
· Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
· Ability to work independently in a fast-growing, global organization
Additional Requirements
· Willingness to travel frequently within the U.S. (up to ~70%)
· Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
· Comfortable collaborating with global teams across time zones; evening availability as needed
· Chinese language skills preferred
