Job Overview
A well established cabinet manufacturer in Douglasville, Ga is searching for a positive, motivated and high energy individual for assemble cabinets.
Duties
- Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking to cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinet components.
- Measure and mark materials with precision to ensure proper fit and alignment during fabrication.
- Operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently, including saws, sanders, drills, and lathes.
- Assemble cabinet parts with attention to detail, ensuring smooth finishes, proper hardware installation, and functional doors and drawers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to power tool safety protocols and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or carpentry within residential or commercial settings.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as chisels, saws, hammers, screwdrivers, as well as power tools for woodworking like drills, routers, sanders, and saws.
- Knowledge of wood construction materials including plywood, MDF, hardwoods, veneers, and related products.
- Familiarity with woodworking machines such as table saws, planers, jointers, and CNC equipment is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
- Strong understanding of power tool safety standards and proper handling procedures.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
