Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Health Insurance Agent located in Jacksonville, FL, with opportunities for partial remote work. The Health Insurance Agent will assist clients in exploring and enrolling in health insurance options, focusing on Medicare and ACA health plans. Responsibilities include assessing client needs, providing tailored solutions, educating clients on available options, and managing an active portfolio of clients. Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and collaborating with the Leola Health team will also be integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Health Insurance, Medicare, and general Insurance practices
- Experience in Insurance Brokerage and tailoring coverage to client needs
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills to build client relationships and explain complex plans clearly
- Understanding of compliance and regulations related to Medicare and ACA health plans
- Self-motivation, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment
- State Health Insurance License (preferred)
- Experience in senior care or retirement planning services is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Business, Finance, or Healthcare Management (preferred but not mandatory)
