You will be responsible for all financial activities of the company, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, tax, audit, and general ledger management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
- Manage financial risk, conduct financial health assessments, and implement strategies to ensure the company's financial stability and growth.
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to guide the company's decision-making process.
- Ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements, coordinate audits, and manage the general ledger.
- Develop and implement strategies for expense management and cost reduction.
- Lead negotiations with vendors, partners, and key stakeholders to secure advantageous terms.
- Oversee the compensation and benefits planning process to ensure competitiveness and fiscal responsibility.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors, providing insights and recommendations.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills and Reynolds & Reynolds software for financial analysis and reporting.
- Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
- CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the Sales or Automotive industry.
- Proven experience in financial management, FP&A, budgeting, accounting, tax, audit, and general ledger management.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Demonstrated experience in expense management, negotiations, and financial health assessments.
- Proficient in advanced Excel and Reynolds & Reynolds software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals.
- Proven ability to effectively manage, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
