Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
The Front Desk Position is a hybrid position. You will be required to train as an Ophthalmic Technician, but that will not be your primary role. Pay rate is dependent on experience and how many Ophthalmic Technician tasks you are able to master.
Duties
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, providing a positive first impression of the organization
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately while maintaining professional phone etiquette
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and mail
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records
- Assist with calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
- Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of documents
- Provide clerical support including proofreading documents, typing reports, and managing office supplies
- Utilize QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks as needed
- Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in an office environment with clerical or administrative responsibilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly; familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively

- Prior experience as a dental or medical receptionist is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and documentation
