Warehouse Coordinator

Lensing Building Specialties
Evansville, IN Full Time
POSTED ON 10/18/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 2/15/2027

If you are an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys keeping operations on track and working with a team to get things done right, we would like to connect with you.

Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to oversee the daily receiving, organization, storage, tracking, and distribution of materials used in our commercial glass and glazing and overhead door operations.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining an organized, efficient, and accurate warehouse. This is a hands-on position requiring physical activity, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize responsibilities and work independently with minimal supervision.

The Warehouse Coordinator plays an important role in ensuring materials are properly received, accounted for, stored, and made available to our fabrication, installation, and service teams. If you are organized, reliable, and thrive in a busy environment, this is a great fit.

What You'll Do

Material Receiving and Inspection

  • Assist with unloading delivery trucks containing glass, aluminum storefront and curtain wall materials, overhead doors, door components, hardware, and other construction-related products.
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and other receiving documentation.
  • Confirm that materials received are correct in quantity, description, size, and condition.
  • Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials promptly.
  • Complete and submit all required receiving documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Inventory Management and Organization

  • Move received materials to their designated warehouse or inventory storage locations.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, safe, and efficient stockroom and warehouse.
  • Track incoming and outgoing inventory to maintain accurate material records.
  • Properly identify, label, and organize materials to ensure they can be located and retrieved efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory quantities and communicate shortages or discrepancies to management.
  • Assist with periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Handle and store materials carefully to minimize damage and unnecessary material loss.

Material Distribution and Accountability

  • Receive and process material requests from fabrication, installation, and service personnel.
  • Locate, pull, and release the correct materials and quantities as requested.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory issued, transferred, or returned.
  • Ensure required material release forms, inventory records, and other documentation are properly completed and submitted.
  • Coordinate material availability with appropriate personnel to help prevent production and installation delays.
  • Maintain accountability for materials moving into and out of the stockroom.

Deliveries and General Warehouse Support

  • Occasionally operate a company vehicle to deliver parts, materials, and components to local jobsites or other company-designated locations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles as needed.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment when properly trained and authorized.
  • Assist with general warehouse operations and other duties as assigned.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and established material-handling practices.

Preferred Qualifications

3–5 years of relevant warehouse, stockroom, inventory control, or material handling experience.

Previous experience with construction materials, commercial glass and glazing products, or overhead door components.

Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Familiarity with inventory tracking software and documentation procedures.

Even if you don’t meet all qualifications, we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and are willing to be trained.
