Project Description
The objective of this project is to provide innovative solutions to support the information technology, systems, and data quality support services to the FDA for the transition to the Shared Services Model, including comprehensive review of current performance measurement practices and development of new Key Performance Indicators that align with shared services objectives and enhance operational effectiveness.
Job Summary
The Technical Write / Editor will review requests/requirements and develop the necessary documentation to capture the FDA office processes, systems and tools. This could include documenting recommendations for acquisition innovations to support the transition to the Shared Services Model.

The Technical Write / Editor will review requests/requirements and develop the necessary documentation to capture the FDA office processes, systems and tools. This could include documenting recommendations for acquisition innovations to support the transition to the Shared Services Model.
Responsibilities
- Develop the documentation as requested, including Enterprise Performance Lifecyle (EPLC) compliant technical documentation, SOPs, etc.
- Assists in collecting and organizing information required for preparation of user's manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
- Edits functional descriptions, system specifications, user's manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents
- Assists with writing and editing any documentation needed by the team
- Work with the Task Order Manager to provide status reports (risks/issues, deliverables, and completed and anticipated activities).
- Support other activities as directed by DRT Portfolio Manager.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of demonstrated experience with technical writing/editing.
- Requires excellent verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to multitask efficiently and effectively.
- Able to work independently and with teams.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust.
- Previous experience working with or for Federal Agencies
- Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, English or relevant field
- $20-$30/hr
- Salary commensurate with experience.
