- Collaborates with Business and IT leadership to determine and communicate systems vision, direction, and work priorities, and drives progress towards technology target roadmaps
- Ensures that sound agile project management, business analysis, and quality assurance processes are in place and practiced
- Removes roadblocks, cultivates relationships, and effectively communicates across Enterprise at various levels of leadership
- Leads, influences, and enforces technology standards
- Demonstrates continuous improvement mindset for internal development processes and how applications assist in business processes operational flow
- Uses software development best practices to design and implement processes that maintain quality standards while meeting deadlines
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 10 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments
- 7 years of experience overseeing large technology projects from inception to implementation in an enterprise environment
- 5 years of experience delivering SDLC solutions using ITIL / Agile / XP, or similar methodologies
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- Airline industry experience, including business processes and supporting technology
- Experience implementing spec-driven development, structured requirements frameworks, and automated traceability pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams through periods of technical transformation-including adoption of AI, automated workflow platforms, and SDD practices
- Ability to build strong relationships across IT and business functions, driving adoption of intelligent automation and AI-enabled processes
- Proven experience supporting mission-critical systems with 24/7 uptime requirements
- Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and prioritization skills
- Deep knowledge of SDLC processes, including Agile, Lean, and Waterfall-plus experience enhancing those processes with model-driven, agentic, or AI-assisted tooling
- Strong technical fundamentals including OOP, data structures, design patterns, distributed systems, and cloud architectures
- Experience developing or governing large-scale applications in AWS and optimizing workloads using agentic AI
- Experience providing requirements and technical guidance for vendor contracts and statements of work
- Strong financial management skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams efficiently
- Experience managing and governing data from distributed enterprise systems
