As the Senior Director of Talent Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's talent strategy. In this role you will collaborate with the senior leadership team, HR and key stakeholders to implement impactful programs that will elevate the employee experience, strengthen company culture, and align talent strategies that align with our business objectives. This position requires a forward-thinking leader responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement, inclusion, and engagement within the workforce.

You will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and will work out of our office in either the Morris Plains, NJ or Charlotte, NC office. The Senior Director, Talent Management, will lead a team of 5 employees focused on learning and development, talent engagement and talent management. This role will begin supporting Honeywell’s Advanced Materials business. Following the business’ planned separation from Honeywell, scheduled for the end of 2025 or beginning of 2026, this role will serve as the Senior Director, Talent Management for Solstice Advanced Materials.

Key Responsibilties

  • Talent Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive talent management strategies aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with business leaders to identify specific talent needs and develop plans to meet those needs. Connect talent strategies with employee engagement initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Lead the company’s performance management programs. Modify existing programs and tools as needed to align with business objectives. Partner with leadership to ensure employees receive regular performance feedback and have plans in place to address areas of improvement.
  • Learning & Development: Define and develop a scalable, progressive strategy for learning and development tied to business objectives. Oversee the design, development, delivery, and management of high-impact Professional Development, Career Development, and Leadership Development programs and offerings. Assess learning needs to drive training initiatives. Lead and execute development programs for high-potential employees, including emerging leaders.
  • Succession Planning: Partner with leadership to ensure there are programs and tools in place that provide succession for leadership roles. Conduct talent reviews that will assess talent development needs, gaps, strengths and opportunities across the organization.
  • Employee Engagement and Diversity: Champion an inclusive company culture that supports diverse talent across regions. Lead the employee engagement efforts, including employee lifecycle surveys and action planning. Partner with the communications team on employee messaging and strategies that will enhance the company’s culture.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Own the tracking and reporting of key talent metrics to measure the success of initiatives. Develop and support operational excellence by refining standard talent management processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all talent management practices comply with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.

You Must Have

  • Minimum of 10 years of broad HR experience with a focus on talent management within a corporate setting.
  • Proven history in designing and implementing organizational talent management programs and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability in leading a department and developing talent.

We Value

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Instructional Design or a related field). A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using talent management tools and software. Experience with Oracle HCM is a plus.
  • Experience with direct management of sizable budgets.
