Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and execute dynamic content across ILLD’s social media channels while ensuring brand consistency and alignment with strategic goals.
- Launch and manage targeted social media campaigns to increase visibility, drive engagement, and grow our following.
- Create original, high-quality content, including stories, videos, infographics, and visuals, that speak to our audiences and mission.
- Serve as a visible and authentic brand ambassador across Johns Hopkins campuses.
- Collaborate with internal teams and campus partners to amplify initiatives and cross-promote content.
- Monitor trends, analytics, and platform insights to optimize performance and refine strategy.
- Stay current with evolving social media tools and best practices to enhance creativity and innovation in our content.
- Ability to work on-site at Imagine Center and travel to other JHU campuses for at least 3 days per week.
- Proven experience creating compelling content and managing social media for a brand, office, or organization.
- Strong understanding of major platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Bluesky, etc.) and their best practices.
- Excellent writing, visual storytelling, and content creation skills.
- Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to experiment with new tools and strategies.
- Critical thinker with a passion for audience engagement and creative problem-solving.
- High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
- Three years related experience.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond HS Diploma/Graduation Equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
