What's the Job?
- Execute 2D & 3D gas turbine rotor finite element analyses in Ansys
- Perform post-processing exercises such as LCF crack initiation, crack propagation, and strength evaluations
- Pull CAD models from PLM systems and work with Siemens NX software
- Summarize and document analytical results for project reporting
- Support automation of tasks using Python scripting as needed
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 6 years of relevant work experience in mechanical design and analysis
- Proficiency in Ansys for finite element analysis
- Experience working with CAD models in Siemens NX and PLM systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
