Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and evaluating new market opportunities, leveraging tools such as market research, zoning analysis, and financial modeling.
- Support feasibility assessments of potential development sites, reviewing economic and demographic trends, zoning laws, and infrastructure considerations.
- Prepare financial proformas, reports, and presentations to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand entitlement processes, design considerations, and development strategies.
- Participate in site visits, stakeholder meetings, and project planning discussions to gain a first-hand understanding of real estate development.
- Maintain organized records of market research, deal pipeline updates, and strategic recommendations.
- A rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Business, Urban Planning, Finance, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong interest in real estate development, urban planning, and market analysis.
- Strong analytical and research skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
- Internship Duration: May – August
- Work Schedule: In-person full time, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Fridayat our main office in Bethesda, MD
- Compensation: This is a paid internship with an anticipated hourly salary range between $19.00-26.00 /hour.Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
