The Project Operations Specialist is responsible for leading the end-to-end onboarding and implementation of client projects. This role is critical to ensuring timely, accurate, and seamless delivery of services, directly impacting revenue realization, client satisfaction, and long-term retention.
Currently, onboarding functions are distributed across multiple teams, resulting in a fragmented and error-prone process. This role will serve as the centralized owner of project setup, bringing structure, accountability, and operational excellence to a high-impact area of the business.

Primary Responsibilities
Client Onboarding & Implementation
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of client onboarding projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and configure systems to meet client needs.
- Ensure timely activation of services and data retrieval to meet SLA commitments.
- Analyze client data to inform setup decisions and ensure accurate configuration.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and workflows.
- Validate data integrity and system outputs prior to go-live.
- Manage multiple concurrent onboarding projects, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets.
- Develop project plans, track milestones, and proactively address risks and issues.
- Facilitate communication across internal teams and with clients.
- Ensure zero-defect delivery by implementing rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Monitor onboarding performance against SLAs and escalate risks as needed.
- Minimize rework and post-launch issues through proactive planning and execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during onboarding.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive alignment across departments to ensure successful implementation.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in business analysis, client implementation, or project management
- 2 years with data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, Tableau, etc.)
- 1 years experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Smartsheet)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- PMP, CBAP, or similar certification
- Experience in SaaS, healthcare, or enterprise services
