Communicate and facilitate timeliness with Production teams, material handlers, Quality Assurance, Label Department, and Production Planning for complete staging and delivery.
Position Responsibilities
- Ensure Production job staging is complete and accurate for all production lines according to Pick List.
- Maintain visitor-ready work environment keeping department area organized, safe and clean-as- you-work.
- Ensure assigned production area is readily supplied to avoid any downtime.
- Keep track of internal Production consumables inventory and execute purchase orders
- Understand and routinely adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Participate in the development and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Inspect all product or components coming into production to ensure quality and integrity I.E. (Clean drums, clean pallets).
- Complete end of day reports.
- Establish a continual line of communication with line leads.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Skills & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Fluent computer skills in use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel),
- Experience with manufacturing/distribution software or general business software a plus.
- Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Know basic math and how to use a calculator.
- Understanding of written and spoken information in English in SOP’s, work related documents, trainings and day to day operations.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced production facility.
- The ability to lift or move heavy boxes, trays, etc. on a regular basis.
- The ability to follow all safety procedures.
- Understanding of Regulatory and GMP guidelines for packaging of Dietary Supplements.
- The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
- The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problems, only recognizing there is a problem.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and able to move up to 500 lb. with equipment
- Able to stand for long periods of time
