This Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing production processes with a focus on safety, quality, costs, and lead times. This role involves controlling process variabilities, sharing expertise in manufacturing processes through training and guidance, and participating as a key stakeholder in production transfers.

Job Title: Process Engineer
Job Description
This Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing production processes with a focus on safety, quality, costs, and lead times. This role involves controlling process variabilities, sharing expertise in manufacturing processes through training and guidance, and participating as a key stakeholder in production transfers.
Responsibilities May Include
- Study process disturbances (safety, quality, costs, lead times) to define and implement improvements or optimizations.
- Analyze reasons for process variability and address them effectively.
- Define and maintain up-to-date technical documents related to manufacturing processes.
- Ensure all training documentation includes proper personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and meets all customer specifications throughout the production process.
- Support the fabrication of fixtures needed in production for new or existing products, ensuring error-proofing of the process (Poke Yoke).
- Share knowledge about processes with main users (production) and additional support teams.
- Disposition DMRs and suggest improvements to reduce variability throughout production.
- Support continuous improvements throughout the production process.
- Implement new manufacturing equipment, including installation and technical validation.
- Initiate and keep up-to-date X-FMEA documentation.
- Participate in the New Product Introduction cycle, engaging with the Design Engineering team.
- Analyze and execute engineering change orders.
- Process improvement and validation

- SolidWorks proficiency
- Problem solving and root cause analysis (RCA)
- AS9100 knowledge
- Problem-solving methodologies
- Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or equivalent Engineering
- 6 years of relevant work experience in process and/or manufacturing engineering
- Ability to produce technical files to support design and manufacturing needs
- Organize and lead meetings for engineering changes
- Verify technical information related to engineering or process changes
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Knowledge of risk analysis methods and DMAIC methodology
- Effective communication skills with all departments
