Position Overview
Adecco is hiring a Manager – Operations to lead a dynamic, customer‑focused environment. In this role, you will manage multiple priorities while overseeing a diverse team that may include Operations Associates, Drivers, and Administrative Coordinators. You will partner closely with internal departments such as Sales, as well as with external customers, to provide outstanding service through efficient order fulfillment and timely issue resolution.
You will be responsible for monitoring and improving key performance indicators (KPIs), maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring a safe and inclusive workplace. This role may involve managing employees in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities
Leadership & People Management
- Manage day‑to‑day operations for a facility, which may include multiple warehouse management systems and value‑added customer services.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and inclusive work environment.
- Lead, coach, mentor, hire, and train employees, including performance management.
- Communicate effectively in both group and individual settings.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and audit standards (e.g., internal controls, ISO 9000).
- Serve as a safety ambassador , driving safety engagement across the plant.
- Manage expense‑based P&L and ensure alignment with budget plans.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies using LEAN methodologies .
- Maintain tour-ready facility standards at all times.
- Oversee preventative maintenance for facility infrastructure and equipment, including:
- Material handling equipment
- Wire cutting machines
- Racking systems
- Warehouse infrastructure
- Work collaboratively with internal departments such as:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Human Resources
- Finance
- Support external customer needs with professionalism and urgency.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required ; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of operations experience , preferably in a distribution center environment.
- Experience managing teams or supervising individual contributors.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, CoPilot).
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with a strong sense of urgency.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
- Ability to travel 0–25% of the time.
- A genuine people‑person with strong interpersonal skills.
