Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels, including mounting components such as circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, and terminal blocks.
- Perform point-to-point wiring and ensure proper labeling of wires and components.
- Inspect and test completed panels for functionality and compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve technical issues.
- Document work performed and update records as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electrical assembly preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in panel building or electrical assembly (industrial automation experience a plus).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with UL standards and industrial control panel wiring practices is a plus.
