Job Title: MIG Welder
Pay: $20-23 hr

Job Description
Responsible for laying out and welding structural steel to build metal structures.
Responsibilities
- Weld and cut black carbon and galvanized steel while interpreting blueprints.
- Operate hand tools, grinders, and basic shop machinery.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to print specifications.
- Maintain a neat and clean work area in compliance with 6S leadership standards.
- Adhere to and comply with all company safety requirements.
- Read and understand schematics and blueprints.
- Proficiently read basic blueprints and weld symbols.
- Measure using a tape measure accurately.
- Perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Operate vehicles, mechanical devices, or equipment.
- Pass 3g/4g test in MIG welding, focusing on vertical/uphill welds and column welds.
- Train new welders.
- Proficiency in flux-core welding and MIG welding.
- Strong background in TIG welding is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and tape measures.
- Minimum of 4 years of recent welding experience.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs without restrictions.
- Proficiency in English language for reading, writing, and speaking.
- Computer proficiency in a Windows environment for basic navigation tasks.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A two-year welding certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
