- Leads continuous improvement recommendations and/or solutions to support overall operational efficiency
- Leads and/or provides support on special projects
- Provides coaching to associates on day-to-day activities and performance
- Responsible for assigning and distributing workloads
- Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Must follow all BD housekeeping policies and procedures
- Must follow all BD safety policies and procedures
- Does yearly performance reviews of the team and ensures every individual has an active development plan in place and does regular 1:1s with each team member to review performance and help them to grow.
- Collaborate with Logistics to establish production schedules and monitor delivery performance versus schedule.
- Ensure regular, timely, and accurate assessments of hourly associates are delivered through coaching activities.
- Works with associates to resolve issues, concerns, and involves HR when needed.
- Performs on floor duties required to support the needs of the business, such as, packaging, 5S etc...
- Run Tier meetings. Also, leads shift start-up meeting, at 2:00 p.m. (ET) once a month.
Minimum Experience/Education
- Bachelor's degree with 1 yearexperiencemanufacturing experience in Food,Pharmaand Industrial production settings. Must have experience working in a regulated environment (FDA).
- Associate'sdegree with 5yearsmanufacturing experience in Food,Pharmaand Industrial production settings. Must have experience working in a regulated environment (FDA).
- High school degree with10yearsmanufacturing experience in Food,Pharmaand Industrial production settings. Must have experience working in a regulated environment (FDA).
- Minimum 4 years team lead experience or minimum 2 years supervisor experience.
- Experience leading off shifts.

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, process validations, safe work practices, and ISO 9000 requirements.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.?
