Job Description

This hands-on supervisory role oversees direct wage associates and manufacturing operations across assigned shifts. Responsible for ensuring quality production, minimizing downtime and scrap, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily production activities, assign tasks, and ensure output meets quality and schedule requirements.
- Monitor equipment setup and operation; troubleshoot and resolve process or equipment issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, OSHA, and EHS regulations.
- Support investigations, root cause analysis, CAPAs, and audits as a subject matter expert.
- Oversee and deliver training; coach and develop team members.
- Facilitate smooth shift transitions and communicate effectively across shifts and departments.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing principles through Gemba walks and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Track production data, manage labor coverage, and escalate issues as needed.
- Participate in performance management, including feedback and reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Skills And Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing supervision, preferably in a multi-shift environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, equipment troubleshooting, and quality standards.
- Skilled in team leadership, training, and performance management.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments and shifts.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EHS compliance.
